InnovatED’s Story
In early 2023, the concept for Innovated Business Academy began to take shape. Founders Mary Cruz, Chief Executive Officer, and Khelvin Cruz, Chief Finance Officer, were already successful young entrepreneurs running multiple businesses, consistently fielding questions from friends, colleagues, and peers about how they managed their enterprises.
Mary, passionate about education and personal growth, had enrolled in various prestigious business schools and believed in the power of continuous learning. Realizing the demand for reliable guidance in the business world, she envisioned creating a formal institution dedicated to helping business owners not only manage their companies but also achieve sustainable growth.
Driven by this vision, Mary and Khelvin partnered with Mr. Marc Dominic Alonzo, who joined as Innovated’s Chief Operations Officer, and together, they began to bring Innovated Business Academy to life. By January 2024, Innovated was officially established, with a mission to provide a unique learning experience for aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.
Innovated was built with a distinct goal: to break away from the typical "Google-ish" or purely book-based business courses. The academy offers programs rooted in both rigorous academic theories, inspired by institutions such as Harvard Business School, Ateneo Center for Continuing Education, and the Asian Institute of Management, and real-world experiences from managing nearly 20 diverse brands. This combination of academic rigor and practical application gives Innovated’s programs a competitive edge, providing business owners with actionable insights that go beyond theory to deliver real, impactful results.
In just a few short months since its establishment, Innovated Business Academy has already served over 1,000 entrepreneurs, company executives, and business managers, empowering them with the tools and insights needed to lead and grow effectively.
